Bond is an absolutely stunning jet black German Shepherd mix. True to the nature of his breed, this handsome young guy is intelligent, athletic and loyal to his guardian. He will bark to alert you to newcomers, but he is very friendly once introduced to new friends. He has a clownish side that comes out when he plays– he will bound after stuffed animals and then proudly prance around with them on display. Highly intelligent and eager to please, Bond is excelling at obedience training. He is working on commands such as “sit,” “heel,” eye contact and “trade,” and he is eager to learn more in his new home. At one-year-old, Bond is an active young dog who will mesh nicely with a guardian who is interested in outdoor activities such as hiking, jogging and/or winter sports. He can live with other dogs and dog-savvy cats, and will be most appropriate for a home with adults and teenagers.
