One year old+/- neutered male, Arubian-hound mix.

*He was found injured and thirsty on a beach in Aruba on Palm Sunday, April 2011 by a

tourists family. He was headed for a “kill cage” or to be dropped off on the wild side of

the island to be eaten by wild dogs! The tourists became his rescue family getting him

medical treatment and boarding him at a vet

island. He was named “Tourist” by the vet in Aruba and called “Touri” by his rescue

family.

*Touri has been fostered by his rescue family since his flight to Boston on Easter 2011.

*He has been neutered and received all shots and heartworm & lyme disease

prevention. He has also been micro-chipped.

*Touri recently completed a 6 week basic obedience class.

*He has been evaluated by a behaviorist from the Upper Valley Humane Society as well

as by a rescue dog specialist who both deem him to be “highly adoptable and trainable” :-)

*Touri is very social, friendly and curious!!! He loves kids and other dogs and wishes

that cats wanted to play with him too :-)

*He loves to swim, play ball and have his belly

rubbed. He smiles when he is happy . . .
