Ferdie lost his home in the July floods and the housing situation locally is dire—his people need a place to live and Ferdie is impacting their ability to exit homelessness. He’s a cool dog! Texas born ~5 years ago, Ferdie has been in Vermont for several years and knows how to deal with snow. He’s neutered, vaccinated, house trained, and great with dogs, cats, and kids. (He respectfully expects cats to beat him up and kids to jump all over him so he moves away.) Barks at all the right times and respects fences. At 75-80 pounds he’s a bit of a dufus and mostly a couch potato. Not the most leash-trained dog, he’d prefer to lay on your lap or zoomie around the yard. This healthy puppers is looking for his forever home out of the flood zone—can you help?
